1/1 and 1/3 octave filters (0,4 – 20 kHz in 1/3 octave band) including time profile multi-spectrum functionality. A third order analogue high pass filter with a -3 dB point at 3 Hz may be selected to avoid overloading the input circuitry from low frequency noise.

GPS and support for external IP camera option

The GPS is used for position identification, and support for exact time synchronisation. Time synchronisation is especially useful when several instruments are used for capturing the same noise event, such as blast monitoring.

With an external IP camera, you can make event triggered pictures. Pictures captured during a measurement is marked as events in the L/t graph and can be view on the Nor145, in NorCloud or in NorReview.

The GPS position is stored as a part of the measurement file. It may also be set to be a part of the file name.

This option is not available as retrofit and must therefore be ordered along with the instrument.

NorCloud option

This option gives access to NorCloud.

NorCloud subscriptions activated at: norcloud.norsonic.com.

FFT option

text

FFT sampling rate is 48 kHz with more than 16000 lines. Upper frequency is 22 kHz. Dynamic zoom from 1 – 64. The FFT calculation and 1/3 octave spectrum works in parallel.

The upper frequency is extended to 44 kHz in ultrasound mode.

Split view with FFT and 1/3 octave. The link cursor feature connects the cursor in FFT and 1/3 octave displays, making it easy to manoeuvre in the frequency domain

Ultrasound option

Extends the frequency range of the 1/3 octave filters to 40 KHz. 1/1 octave to 31.5 kHz.
Audio recording is extended to a maximum sampling rate of 96 kHz.
AU weighting network is added, giving a total of 4 simultaneously measured weighting networks in addition to 1/3 or 1/1 octave filters allowing simultaneously measurement of A, AU, C and Z weighted parameters, such as LAeq , LAUeq, PeakC and Peak Z.
Simultaneously measurement of “Ultrasound noise at work” with “standard noise at work parameters”. This is a unique feature not seen in any handheld instrument.

A ¼” microphone is recommended to measure correctly due to the limitation in the frequency range of a standard ½” microphone.

Build in LTE modem (Edge – 4 G) option

The built in LTE modem adds functionality to a handheld sound level meter never seen on the market before. It is seamless integrated and only one click is needed to connect to NorCloud, Norsonics web based measurement and reporting solution.
Removes all configuration challenges with external modems and combability issues.
Save files manually to cloud direct from memory (MEM). Just mark the files you want to manually send to NorCloud or use NorCloud to remote control your Nor145 as a Noise Monitoring Terminal.

API- Application programming interface option

Full remote programming support for the environmental mode. Ideal tool for system integrators requiring a sound level meter as a frontend to their application. Including support for Nosie Compass and Weather station. Requires ENV-Advanced.

The use of API option requires a purchase of Nor1056, DLA – Developer License Agreement. This grants 8 hours free support with direct access to API developers’ team

STI calculation based on the STIPA method option

The STI mode supports the latest revision of the STIPA standard, IEC 60268-16 revision 5.
Additional features are background noise correction and auditory correction.
Background noise correction can be turned on/off.
Auditory correction gives a lower score on the STI value if the STIPA noise signal is too loud or too low. It shall normally be turned on, but the latest revision of the standard recommends it to be possible to turn it off in some special circumstances.
The built-in signal generator generates the STIPA signal.
A complete measurement sequence takes only 21 seconds.

Works with basic instrument.

STIPA mode is easy and intuitive to use. The display is composed of a fixed view with two frames. The upper shows each frequency band, while the lower shows the measured values including a bar graph.

STIPA – By selecting the lower part of the display and pressing the TBL button, the two modulation indexes for each of the STIPA-octaves will be displayed.
